Important information - the Sunday Obligation
In 2022 the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales issued a Pentecost Statement marking the end of the special provisions regarding the Sunday Mass Obligation. They invited all Catholics, who have not already done so, to return to attending Mass in person, so that nourished by their encounter with the Risan Lord, fed by his Body and Blood in Holy Communion, and supported by the presence of the Worshipping Community, they might receive strength, week by week, to serve the Lord faithfully, in the particular circumstances of their lives.
